Course Pre-Requisite – Professional Massage Qualification (including Anatomy & Physiology)
Course Length - 1 Module (1 Module being a 2 day attendance lecture)
End of course program examination and assessment to gain a professional qualification in Hot Stone Massage Therapy
Registration/Approval - This course is recommended and approved by the Institute for Complementary & Natural Medicine (ICNM), British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP)
Course Cost - Total: £250 (£50 non-refundable deposit and £200 for the course).
The Hot Stone Massage Therapy program is a popular new addition to the Academy’s prospectus. Designed as a useful addition to any holding a massage qualification (including anatomy & physiology) or as a CPD to those qualified in Acupuncture, Anmo, TuiNa, Anma, Amma etc.
Most Hot Stone programs in the UK are taught by instructors with little clinical experience and held over a single day. Our program includes lectures by therapists with many years experience in practice, and an extra day to gain confidence in the methods taught, along with a qualifying assessment making sure that the techniques and methods have been absorbed.

- Methods of practice – Static Hot Stones, sliding/massaging, cold stone therapy, areas and uses of stone therapy
