
Acupuncture for Structural Dysfunction & Pain Management
Course Pre-Requisite – AOM Manual Therapies (section 1 & 2) or a Professional Qualification including Anatomy & Physiology and First Aid (already being registered on a statutory regulated trade such as Nurse, Doctor, Osteopath etc.)
Course Length - 6 Modules – This program is designed specifically to deal with the most common occurring injuries and structural dysfunction to present in clinic.
Home Study – 5 Essays (plus learning assignments)
End of course - If you are already a medical professional, and a member of a statutory regulated body, the end of program examination is to gain a professional qualification in Acupuncture for Pain Relief & Structural Dysfunction. If you are not a medical professional, this is the first stage to gaining your professional qualification in Acupuncture.
Registration/Approval - This course is recommended and approved by the Institute for Complementary & Natural Medicine (ICNM), British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP)
Course Cost - Total £1800 (£600 non-refundable deposit and £1200 for the course. Payments made £200 per course module)
The program includes:
- Introduction to Acupuncture, Health & Safety, Contra-Indications, etc.
- Basic Theory of Pain in TCM
- Acupuncture apparatus (such as TDP Lamp, Electro-Stimulator, etc.)
- Treatment of pain and dysfunction to the upper/lower extremities, spine, pelvis & head.
- Clinical Practice
